Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of Health revealed the dangers of excessive coffee consumption, as it recommended coffee drinkers to adhere to the natural limit of caffeine daily to avoid its harm to public health.
She pointed out that although coffee is friendly, the maximum amount of caffeine for an adult is 400 mg per day, which is equal to 4 cups of black coffee.
The Ministry of Health mentioned 6 prominent symptoms of excess caffeine, which are insomnia, nausea, headache, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, hallucinations, difficulty breathing, and loss of muscle control.
She noted that a small increase in the dose of caffeine can be dealt with by drinking water, exercising lightly, and eating food.
