The “Russia Today” website stated that the World Health Organization warned of a possible epidemic more dangerous than the “Covid-19” pandemic.
Dr. Yelena Malinikova, Head of the Department of Virology at the Russian Medical Academy for Continuing Professional Education, says: “Of course, in addition to the emerging coronavirus, there are many dangerous viruses on Earth. One of these viruses is called the “Hantavirus” that causes mouse fever, and some of its types also infect humans. “Hantaviruses” are transmitted by rodents, especially mice. “Hantavirus” causes hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome.
And she adds: “When we look at the epidemics caused by “Hantaviruses”, we will see that they are more prevalent in China and Russia. Reports currently indicate the emergence of a new version of the “Hantavirus”, which can directly infect humans, and this is a very dangerous matter.
According to her, “Hantavirus is very dangerous, but there is no need to be afraid of it, because the number of recorded infections is not many.”
And she continues, “In addition, this virus is officially included in the list of biological terrorism weapons.” (Russia Today)
