Although many people love coffee and get used to starting their day with a cup of it, a recent study warned of side effects of cholesterol levels, which may expose men in particular to severe health consequences.
The human body needs high levels of one type of cholesterol and low levels of the other type, namely (HDL) and (LDL), as high cholesterol levels are one of the main risk factors for heart disease, according to the British “Daily Express”.
The study, conducted by the University of the Arctic in Norway, warned of the dire consequences of excessive coffee consumption.
Heart attack
And two months ago, scientists warned that your morning cup of coffee might put you at risk of a heart attack.
Chemicals found naturally in coffee have previously been linked to high levels of cholesterol in the blood, which is a risk factor for heart problems, including stroke, according to what The Sun published at the time.
However, there is also an abundance of scientific evidence to suggest that coffee consumption is beneficial for heart health and longevity.
