In Turkey, BluTV now belongs to the same group as Max and countless other streaming options. For those who don’t know, BluTV is the first SVOD service in Turkey. Warner Bros. Discovery is now a 35% shareholder in the company.
In 2021, the company signed an agreement with the Turkish broadcaster to host Discovery Plus content on its platform. Over time, content from HBO and some hits from Cartoon Network also arrived on BluTV, which makes this transition a natural one.
