The intelligence agencies of United States have concluded that the president of Russia, Vladimir Putinfeels cheated by his advisers because they are giving him “misinformation” about the evolution of the war in Ukraine and the effect of sanctions on the Russian economy.
“We have information that Putin has felt cheated by the Russian Armed Forces, which has resulted in persistent tension between Putin and his military leadership”, affirmed this Wednesday the White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfieldat a press conference.

The official explained that the US intelligence community has revealed information that points to Putin was unaware that his military had been suffering heavy losses on the battlefield.
“We think Putin is getting misinformation from his advisers about the poor performance of the Russian Military and how the Russian economy is being crippled by sanctions. His top advisers are afraid to tell him the truth.”Bedingfield said.
United Statess has been making public information from its intelligence services about Russia and Ukraine even before the Russian invasion began on February 24.

The US made that decision before the invasion because it was trying to stop Putin and, in this case, the goal is to show that the war in Ukraine has been a “strategic mistake that has left Russia weaker in the long run and increasingly isolated on the world stage,” Bedingfield said.
In another press conference, the Defense Department spokesman, John Kirbysaid that coincides with the conclusions of the intelligence agencies, but he admitted that the United States “does not have access to all the information that has been given to (Putin) and all the conversations that he has had.”
Kirby also acknowledged that he is “a little concerned” that Russia’s leader does not know what his soldiers are doing in Ukraine.
He also expressed fear that this situation would affect the talks that have been taking place between Russia and Ukraine to bring positions closer together and achieve a ceasefire.
“If (Putin) is not fully briefed, how are his negotiators going to come up with a deal that lasts? One that of course respects Ukraine’s sovereignty. And another thing is that one does not know how a leader is going to react when he receives bad news. So yeah, it’s worrying.” Kirby added.
