Russia intensifies offensive in eighth week of Ukraine occupation The ammunition factory near the capital, Kiev, was destroyed by troops. Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Selensky called the situation in Mariupol “inhumane.”

Ukraine has confirmed heavy shelling in the northeastern city of Kharkiv. The attack took place in a residential area in the city center. Five people were killed and at least 20 were injured in what became known as the Cold War. Mayor Ihor Terekhov said several buildings had been destroyed in the attack on residential areas.

Earlier, the flagship of the Russian Navy’s Black Sea Fleet was partially destroyed in a Ukrainian missile attack. Ukraine attacked the Fleet missile cruiser Moscow with 2 Neptune missiles. Russia has confirmed that the ship was damaged, but has denied any involvement.
