Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke Wednesday morning with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss Canada’s military assistance to Ukraine.

Mr. Trudeau, who reiterated Canada’s “unwavering” support for the Ukrainian people, indicated that Ottawa would send Ukraine another shipment of “highly specialized” military equipment.
“We continue to work with our allies and international partners to hold Russia accountable for its unjustifiable and unlawful invasion of Ukraine,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Twitter.
I just spoke with the president @ZelenskyyUa. I told him that Canada will send Ukraine another shipment of highly specialized military equipment. We also discussed sanctions once morest Russia and humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

Prime Minister Trudeau also mentioned in his tweet that he had invited President Zelensky to address the Canadian Parliament soon, which the Ukrainian head of state accepted.
“Canadians have been inspired by the courage and resilience of Ukrainians and by the leadership of the President, and I know they are eager to hear it directly,” added Justin Trudeau.
