War in Ukraine: Russians use chemicals in Mariupol, say Ukrainian fighters

Russian occupation troops allegedly used a drone to drop a “toxic substance of unknown origin” which caused respiratory problems, dizziness and nausea, among other things, according to several reports, including some on Twitter.

Since the start of the war, Ukraine has expected the Russians to use chemical weapons. After more than six weeks of fighting, almost all of the port city of Mariupol has been taken over by Russians and pro-Russian rebels, but resistance continues.
