Thousands of Ukrainian citizens have reportedly been illegally deported to Russia. The precise number of displaced children is not known at this time since the Kremlin does not give figures. As for the Ukrainian authorities, they estimate that the number of children is in the thousands.
According to Amnesty International, such practices amount to a crime once morest humanity. Kidnapping civilians is also a violation of international agreements.
”Ukrainian children as cannon fodder”
“The Kyiv Independent”, reports that the Russian authorities have lists that list the names of Ukrainian children, with the sole purpose of mobilizing them once they reach majority in this year 2023. These young Ukrainians born in 2005 and 2006 being in the occupied territories by Vladimir Putin’s army, namely Lugansk and Donetsk, would already be registered for compulsory military service.
