Officially invisible, the Wagner group is the strong element of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Recruitment in prisons, giant HQ in Saint Petersburg and delivery of weapons, the relationship between the two entities is less and less ambiguous. Wagner’s boss, Evgueni Prigojine, does not hesitate to openly criticize the Russian command and to appropriate military victories. A passage in political force which hit the mark in the Kremlin, because Wagner’s model is not infallible…
