War in Ukraine: Alexander Dugin calls to overthrow and even kill Putin after the defeat of Kherson

A Kherson, the Ukrainian army recaptured the territory from the Russians. A setback for Putin that does not please defenders of the war in Ukraine.

The ultra-nationalist ideologue Alexander Dugin called for the overthrow of the Russian president following the “humiliating defeat” in Kherson. Visibly furious, he even hinted that Putin should be killed. This is revealed by the British media, The Mirror.

In a long message published on Telegram, the one who is also called “Putin’s brain”, openly criticized the Russian president, without however naming him. The cryptic post has since been deleted, but The Mirror reports it refers to a novel by James Frazer, ‘The Golden Bough’, in which a king is killed for failing to bring rain during a drought.

“We give the ruler absolute power and he saves us all – the people, the state, the citizens – at a critical moment. If for this he surrounds himself with shit or spits on social justice, it is unpleasant , but as long as he saves us… Otherwise, the fate of the Rain King awaits him”Dugin wrote, whose daughter was killed in a car bomb attack. “Autocracy also has a downside. Total power if successful, but also total responsibility if it fails.”

This fervent defender of the war in Ukraine continued his tirade by explaining that every “true Russian” should lament the situation: if the citizens are not upset by the takeover of Kherson, it is because they “are not Russians,” says the ultra-nationalist. A speech that has something to push Putin a little more, already criticized by the army and Russian citizens opposed to the war.

However, Het nieuwsblad indicates that the ideologue denies these statements and shouted “Fake news”.
