Seth Kikuni is direct: the “Head of State” can do nothing for his population. He urges the people not to expect anything from his authority.
“That’s not necessarily the truth. We choose to be responsible. It is a position that we adopt, a role that we assume to solve a problem or confront a given situation. Félix-Antoine is simply irresponsible in his speeches and in his actions. If he has reached the point of saying that it is the constitutional fault that he is violating at will, tomorrow he will find something else. Don’t expect anything from him.” he concluded.
Note that the east of the DRC, in particular the city of Goma, has been the scene of several bombings in recent days. According to the latest information, nearly 13 people died in a bombing this past Friday and the government’s strong reaction is slow to surface.
