War correspondent Poddubny is alive and in the regional hospital

VGTRK military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny was wounded in a Ukrainian drone attack in the Kursk region. He is in the regional hospital, reports Telegram channel “Vesti”

The information that the military correspondent survived the UAV attack on his car was confirmed by a source familiar with the situation to RTVI.

“Alive. In hospital. Average condition. There will be no official announcement yet,” the source said.

Acting Head of Kursk Region Alexey Smirnov reportedthat Evgeny Poddubny has regained consciousness and is receiving all the necessary treatment in one of the hospitals in Kursk.

On the evening of August 7, several pro-war Telegram channels reported the death of Yevgeny Poddubny. State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin was one of the first to write about it in a Telegram channel, but later he edited the post, adding the phrase: “Let them announce it officially.”

Blogger Vladislav Pozdnyakov posted a video on his channel with soldiers who claim to have seen Poddubny alive after the drone hit his car. According to them, the war correspondent suffered burns, but was conscious and alive. The soldiers in the video claim that they personally sent the reporter to one of the Kursk hospitals.
