Wall Street and Asia’s stock markets surprise with gains

After the leading index dropped in the last few days, some investors saw the opportunity to buy now.

Companies in Japan that are considered inexpensive on the market and had suffered from the stock market sell-off until yesterday benefited particularly strongly.

The shock of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine did not last long. After Wall Street, Asia’s stock markets are also turning positive once more. However, experts warn once morest optimism. Investors in Asia reacted with relief to the price gains on Wall Street on Friday. Japan’s Nikkei 225 index, which tracks 225 major companies, rose 1.5 percent to 26,353 points by midday on Friday. After the leading index had dropped by around five percent or 1,400 points in the past five trading days, some investors saw the time as an opportunity to buy.
