Pope Francis called us to walk with our mother and fight once morest evil, just as the Blessed Virgin Mary lived in purity.
Monsignor Joji Vadakara, Vatican City
Pope Francis exhorted that the true identity of the Holy Mother is grace. In his message at the Vatican on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Mother, the Pope said that when the Archangel Gabriel greets the Holy Mother, his true identity is revealed to the Holy Mother, and that God reveals his great secret by calling her the name of Grace.
The Pope exhorted us to receive a similar grace when we receive baptism. The Pope also reminded us that in the baptism of wisdom we become children loved by God. The Pope said that by the grace that graced the life of the Holy Mother from the first moment of her life, today she inspires us to marvel at the beauty within us.
Referring to the white robe used at baptism, the Pope reminded us that beneath the life we have stained with sins in the past years, we contain a great deal of goodness. The Pope reminded us that we can strive to listen to God who tells us that he loves us, that he will always be with us and that our lives are precious to him, and he said that in our failures and disappointments we can remember the true grace in us.
The Pope reminded us that we have to fight internally to preserve the sanctity of life and the beauty of life. The Holy Mother’s acceptance of God reveals her inner stability, the Pope added. The Pope said that through our life experiences we know how difficult it is to choose good and to overcome the temptations of evil.
The Pope reminded us that the fact that the Holy Mother, the only human person without sin, is with us in our spiritual struggles is a fact that gives us courage. The Pope called upon all of us to take the hand of the Holy Mother and go forward in the war once morest evil and to regain our original beauty.
On the feast day of the Mother of God, the Pope exhorted regarding the sanctity of life of the Holy Mother and the sanctity that every Christian should live during the three-day rosary prayer held at the Vatican.
