The “Volleyball Guarantee” list, headed by the resigned head of the administrative committee of the federation, Walid Al-Qasouf, won the elections of the administrative committee that took place in the Michel Al-Murr complex in Baouchriyeh, under the supervision of Muhammad Oweidat, who was assigned to complete the electoral process from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Al-Qasouf’s list won 13 seats out of 15, and was penetrated by the Vice-President of the Olympic Committee, President of the US Embassy Club, Asaad Al-Nakhl, and the former beach soccer champion, international player Ghassan Qirdahi. Al-Qasouf retained his position, and he headed a list that included members of the previous Administrative Committee, except for Vice-Chairmen Al-Nakhl and George Nassour (who abstained from running). Al-Qasouf entered the Administrative Committee for the first time in 2002 as Vice-Chairman, then Secretary since 2005 with President Walid Younes, then with Presidents Jean Hammam (2008, 2012 and 2016), and Michel Abi Ramia (2017 to 2020). Al-Qasouf is the son of the godfather of the game, Shehada Al-Qasouf, whose name is associated with it, and from the Youth School of Bouchrieh, the record holder for the number of times winning the Lebanese Championship. The elections witnessed the return of international lecturer Emile Jabbour, who is one of the top technicians in the continent, the Arab world and internationally, following his reluctance to run for the 2020 session.
