The activities of the sixth season of the “Keith in Fujairah” festival for 2022 will continue under the slogan “Summer of Culture”, which is organized by the Fujairah Social and Cultural Association until July 28. It was accompanied by many cultural, entertainment, sports and artistic activities targeting different segments of society, to invest the free time of young people and children through programs and competitions that enhance their skills and develop their spirit of creativity, innovation and community participation. Ahmed Al Hashemi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that “Qayyuz in Fujairah” represents one of the most important initiatives of the association during the summer period, noting that the events deal with several workshops and activities aimed at all groups, especially children, by providing useful educational, cognitive, social and awareness programs that contribute to the development of their abilities and developing their skills to serve their country and society in various fields. It includes open dialogue sessions dealing with societal and cultural topics that touch on reality, in addition to various field visits to the television building and the various academies.

Al-Hashemi stated that the programs aim to spread awareness among members of society, while adopting and refining talents and highlighting their creativity and support, by involving them in these recreational and educational activities, which have a prominent role in skills development, especially in the summer, which constitutes a valuable opportunity to organize programs that benefit It develops abilities and enhances self-confidence. He pointed out that these activities provide youngsters with skills in good dealing with the public, in line with the association’s objectives of strengthening brotherly and solidarity ties between age groups, through the consolidation of cultural concepts. It also works to encourage talents and competencies in various fields, to achieve community development, revive Emirati culture and its legacies, and nurture a conscious and qualified generation to lead the nation’s future efficiently and effectively.

Fakhira bin Dagher, coordinator of the Qayyes Festival in Fujairah and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, explained that the festival aims to invest the summer vacation to fill students’ free time and invest their activities in a correct and useful manner, which contributes to developing their intellectual skills across their different age stages. She stressed that the summer program includes dialogue sessions and activities that serve members of society in general, including family and social seminars, and various cultural events such as courses, lectures and training workshops provided by specialists and creators, in addition to other courses offered in Japanese and Korean.
