Waiting for father at Kathirmandapath; Nikhil is now in the fold | Rekha | Nikhil

Agali (Palakkad) രേഖ While climbing into the Kathir Mandapam, Rekha’s eyes were looking for her father at the door of the wedding hall. While standing in front of Nikhil to write the thali, she overheard the call of ‘Mole’. Rekha, daughter of missing forest watcher Rajan, was married yesterday in Silent Valley National Park.

All the recipients of the invitation printed in Rajan’s name arrived but Rajan was not there to receive them. Rajan (56) went missing on May 3 at Mukkali Pulikkancherry house. In Sairandhri, Rajan, who had gone to the camp shed to eat and sleep, was never seen once more. Rajan’s shoes, torch, mule and medicine kept in his pocket were found in the bush. Foresters, police and locals, with the help of experts, searched for days to find Rajan but to no avail. Police are investigating.

Rajan went to work to print the wedding. Rajan’s mother has not been informed regarding the disappearance. The marriage took place in the dormitory hall of the forest department in Mukkali. The groom is Nikhil, Gopalan’s son, at Akkipadam house in Mannarkkad. In the absence of Rajan, brothers and relatives tried to get married without fail. Colleagues and friends shook hands.
