The 45-year-old artist had suffered a stroke last Wednesday, while he was in Morocco, in Marrakech.

Wahid Bouzidi had already suffered two strokes, including one in 2021 following which he explained: “A month ago, I might barely walk. The doctors kept telling me that I would never go back on stage once more.

Star of the famous show “Jamel Comedy Club”, the comedian had also participated in many films, including “Case Départ”, “Encore Joyeux”, “30 jours max”, “Neuilly his mother, his mother!” or “Nicky Larson and the Perfume of Cupid”.

On June 30, he was still performing in Paris in his one-man show “Wahid… he gets up” which he had created in January.
