Vuelta a Trujillo 2024: Juan Ruiz took the plunge in La Mesa de Esnujaque

After “hunting” the escape, the leader Juan Ruiz separated himself from the group of favorites, even releasing his greatest rival Roniel Campos, to win “the stage” of Vuelta a Trujillo 2024, which reached La Mesa de Esnujaque, municipality Urdaneta, with a time of 3 hours, 34 minutes and 37 seconds.

In this seventh and penultimate chapter of the 35th Edition of the Trujillo turn, the great “Juancho”, the fundamental asset of the Bolivarian Government Team of Trujillo – Mppop, practically gave the blow to the leader of Confitería La Guacamaya-Salricas, by defeating him for the second consecutive day and considerably increase the difference in the general table with only one stage remaining. He was more than a minute ahead of Campos who crossed the finish line in third place as his teammate moved into second place, 59 seconds behind Ruíz.
