The Minister also highlighted the problem of financing faced by some of these companies. In this respect, the Minister emphasized the “important” assessment of the “Intelaka” program, stressing that the difficulties detected during its implementation are not difficulties at the level of the said program, but difficulties at the level of the structuring and pace of small and medium-sized enterprises.
In this wake, the minister indicated that only 12% of the total of VSMEs reach the level of bank financing, according to him, this rate is attributable to the problem of the structure, specifying that among the solutions envisaged to resolve this concern for financing, it means helping VSMEs to access public investments, in order to be able to benefit from more financing.
In this context, Sekkouri recalled that the decree relating to public procurement allows auto-entrepreneurs to participate in calls for tenders, in addition to simplifying a set of procedures for calls for tenders of less than 5 MDH, adding that the ministry has provided for a decree relating to support for small and very small businesses in investment.
