Clarifying the circumstances and identifying the perpetrators is the order of the day
Vienna (OTS) – “I strongly condemn the anti-Semitic arson attack at the Central Cemetery,” said the state party chairman of the Vienna People’s Party, City Councilor Karl Mahrer, regarding the arson attack at the Jewish part of the Vienna Central Cemetery. And further: “Now it is also important to quickly investigate the perpetrators and clarify the exact circumstances of the crime .”
For the Vienna People’s Party it is clear that Austria and Vienna in particular have a responsibility due to its history that needs to be fulfilled right now. “There is no question that we have to take consistent and united action once morest the flaring anti-Semitism in our city. So that it remains a case of ‘never once more!’,” concluded Mahrer.
