VP Mahrer ad Farmers’ Union: Sensational success for the Vienna Farmers’ Union

With 17 out of 20 mandates, the Wiener Bauernbund achieved a strong result in the chamber elections.

Vienna (OTS) The Vienna Farmers’ Association wins the Chamber of Agriculture elections. 81 percent for the Vienna Farmers’ Association – City Agriculture supports the successful path of the Vienna Farmers’ Association top candidate Norbert Walter: “I see the result with great thanks for the trust and as a clear mandate for reliability and cohesion in Vienna’s city agriculture of choice. I am particularly pleased that we have received such clear confirmation of our path,” said the top candidate and Chairman of the Farmers’ Union, Norbert Walter, together with Martin Flicker and Irene Maria Trunner, the candidates for the offices of Vice President. The Vienna Farmers’ Association won 17 mandates and thus once more has a strong majority in the next chamber representation for the interests of gardeners, winegrowers, arable, fruit and ornamental plant farmers in Vienna. Compared to the 2018 election, the farmers’ union has gained 1.3 percentage points and still holds 17 out of 20 mandates.

Sensational success for the Wiener Bauernbund.

One of the first to congratulate was state party chairman Karl Mahrer. “It is our job to continue on the successful path of constructive cooperation. The candidates of the Vienna Farmers’ Union were able to convince the voters with the right topics,” said state party chairman Karl Mahrer on site.
