Doctors explained that esophageal and cardia mucosal tear syndrome is caused by severe and frequent nausea or vomiting, which leads to a sudden increase in intra-abdominal pressure, causing tears in the mucosa and/or submucosa of the distal esophagus or cardia, causing upper gastrointestinal bleeding. .
