Volunteers rescued a 2-month-old puppy after drilling a water pipe in a steel house in Xingda Hong Kong for a week

A 2-month-old puppy was found stuck in a water pipe next to a tin hut in Xingda Port, Kaohsiung. It was trapped for more than a week. Because it was too tight, it was difficult to save. Animal emergency rescue volunteers had to spend regarding 40 minutes. The puppy was rescued by sawing off the water pipe and is currently being treated in the hospital.

Taiwan’s Animal Emergency Rescue Team issued a press release this morning stating that they received a report a few days ago that a puppy was found stuck in a water pipe next to a tin house in Xingda Port, Kaohsiung. Animal rescue volunteers rushed to the scene to rescue following being reported.

Ni Zhaocheng, head of the Taiwan Animal Emergency Rescue Team, said that when the volunteers arrived at the scene, they found that the puppies, regarding two months old, were stuck in a plastic water pipe with a diameter of less than 10 centimeters. But the puppy was still stuck tightly, and the rescue was at a stalemate for a time. Fortunately, the volunteers finally took out the saw, and it took regarding 40 minutes to cut the water pipe before the puppy was rescued. The process was thrilling.

According to the information of the Taiwan Animal Emergency Rescue Team, the puppy has been trapped for a long time and has severe dehydration and malnutrition. It is currently being treated at the animal hospital. After it recovers, the team will help it find a warm new home so that it will no longer wander. .
