Magnesia this year counted several wounds, but many efforts were made to close several open fronts that also concerned the basic infrastructure, such as the road network. Pelion now shows signs of a significant tourist recovery and visitors show that they prefer it for their summer holidays.
Giorgos Zafeiris, president of hoteliers of Magnesia, and Lina Venieri, a member of the association, spoke on ERT3’s “Perimetro” show about Pelion, which remains welcoming and is a very tempting proposition for vacations, combining deep blue waters and beautiful nature.
“Admittedly, the situation is going very well. Access to our area is absolutely no problem. Of course, there are always reservations and people can find offers from hoteliers. But I want to point out that we don’t have the help we need from the central government, but the business people who love tourism have put their backs, the hotel people know what hospitality means.
People can come to enjoy Pagasitikos, the waters are clean”, as Mr. Zafeiris mentioned, among others, while he also spoke about the importance of the thessaly pass for boosting tourism.
