On May 5, 2024, a 3.5 meter long shark was spotted in the port of Volos, surprising the locals.
Officers from the Central Port Authority Volos they enlisted the help of the Special Forces Club in order to remove the sharkoid.
According to protothema, volunteer rescuers were able to grab the fish by the tail and pull it out of the trapped storm drain.
“Our Easter Good Deed”, wrote the vice president of the Special Forces Club, Mr. Vassilis Iliopoulos, in his post, publishing the relevant photos.
The fish succeeded and came out into the open.
