Volodymyr Zelenskiy will participate via video conference at the G7 summit in Japan

Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he was invited to the G7 summit by the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, whose country holds the presidency of the organization.

“I have accepted the invitation and will participate via video conference at the G7 summit in Hiroshima,” said Volodymyr Zelenskiy, quoted by Le Monde daily.

Before the meeting with Volodymyr Zelenski, the Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, went on Tuesday morning to the town of Bucea, near Kiev, where massacres attributed to Russian military forces took place. Fumio Kishida declared that the Russian military invasion is “a disgrace that undermines the foundations of the international legal order”. “During the visit to Bucea, I had a strong resentment towards these acts of cruelty”, emphasized Fumio Kishida, according to The Associated Press agency.
