Volodymyr Yermolenko (43) is a Ukrainian philosopher, essayist and journalist living and working in Kiev. Since the start of Russia’s invasion of all of Ukraine in February 2022, its podcast “Explaining Ukraine” and the website of its multimedia platform “Ukraine World” have become an important source of information and analysis for the international community. “Ukraine World” emerged from a volunteer initiative that supported international journalists in their work during the Euromaidan revolution of 2013/14.
