Volleyball Franches-Montagnes is getting stronger. Three new players join the contingent of the first team, recently relegated to the LNB. German-speaking setter Raphaela Morandi is the first signed this season. Playing at Volley Luzern last season, the young player will bring “a fast game”, the club said in a press release on Wednesday.
The other two players joining the team are from the Franc-Montagnards and come from the junior movement. Zora Chappatte joins her sister Kimy as libero. She wants to continue her training and progress in this position, while keeping playing time with the second team (1LN). Elona Faivet will assume the position of winger / diagonal between the LNB and the 1LN just like Zora Chappatte. /comm-jad
