Kim Yeon-kyung (34, Heungkuk Life Insurance) won the round’s best player (MVP) upon returning to the V-League.

Kim Yeon-kyung won 11 out of 31 votes from the reporters, beating Elisabeth Ine Barga (KGC Ginseng Corporation, registered name Elisabeth), who received 10 votes, by one vote and became the MVP of the first round of the women’s division.

One abstention vote was cast.

Kim Yeon-kyung, who was also selected as the MVP in the first round of the 2020-2021 season, played in China last season.

Kim Yeon-kyung, who returned to the V-League following one season, played a big role in both offense and defense with 99 points (7th place) in the first round, an attack success rate of 45.60% (4th place), and 3.571 per dig set (7th place).

Nicola received 12 out of 31 votes, beating Lincoln Williams (Korean Air, registered name Lincoln) with 7 votes.

In the first round, Nikola filled the void left by Keita Noumori, who left KB Insurance, by ranking first in points (169 points) and third in overall offense (55.85%).
