Dhe BildungsZentrum St. Benedikt invites you to a concert by the ensemble “Vokal Pur Wien” in the promulgation hall.
Under the title “Spiel und Ernst”, the ensemble “Vokal Pur Wien” under its artistic director Johannes Kaupp will present a cappella choral music with sacred and secular works – including works by Johannes Brahms – on August 18, 6 p.m. in the promulgation hall of the monastery , Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Anton Bruckner, Edvard Grieg, Claude Debussy and Francis Poulenc. This ensemble consists of experienced singers from Vienna and the surrounding area, who are now coming together for the fourth time at the St. Benedict Education Center to work on complex choral works from the Baroque, Romantic and Modern eras. The already traditional final concert under the motto “play and seriousness in music and word” is framed by poetic texts spoken by Christopher Dietz. Voluntary donations!
