The women’s ensemble “Femmes Vocal”, part of the “VOCAL Vocal Ensemble of Patras”, under the direction of the founder, artistic director and conductor Katerina Polymenakou, will participate in the “5th Kalamata International Choir Competition and Festival” October 10-13.
It is an International Choir Competition, organized by Interkultur, with many entries from all over the world that will resonate melodically in the center of Kalamata, specifically in the Kalamata Dance Hall (Artemidos 574). The events will start with a big concert on the evening of Thursday 10/10. This will be followed by three days of full-day choral competitions and concerts, where the public will enjoy a variety of musical genres and choirs of all ages from around the world.
Patras will give its cultural presence to the competition as Femmes Vocal will travel from our city, accompanied by the President of the association, Mr. George Georgopoulos, and on the evening of Saturday, October 12, they will compete in the A2 category of similar voices with the following a cappella songs :

The Vocal Ensemble of Patras, both as a female ensemble and as a mixed ensemble, has participated in numerous events and competitions throughout Greece and has been distinguished over the years for its melodiousness. In 2022 he celebrated 10 years of singing, while in 2023 he won the silver medal at the 41st International Choir Competition in Preveza.
