A purchase price was not mentioned. The Metal Engineering Division supplies customers in the railway, oil and gas, mechanical engineering, automotive and construction industries. The division had sales of around 4.3 billion euros in the 2022/23 financial year, with an operating result (Ebitda) of 586 million euros, and employed around 14,000 people worldwide.
Group-wide there were sales of 18.2 billion euros and 51,200 employees.
