XVII. Professional Star Festival

“Over the last 15 years we have built a work-based economy. We are on the right track, vocational training is becoming more and more attractive.”
This is what the Prime Minister said Viktor Orbán (M.) at the opening of the XVII. Professional star festival on Wednesday in the Hungexpo Budapest congress and exhibition center. More than half of young people now choose a technical college when choosing a career. On behalf of the government, Orbán guaranteed the young people four things: Everyone will have a profession and therefore a job. Hungary has now achieved that there are more jobs than skilled workers. Those who work will also earn decently. And finally, fourthly: Anyone who starts a family alongside their job will also have their own home and can count on family support from the government.
Parragh: One of the best systems in Europe
Since 2010, Hungary has created one of the best vocational education systems in Europe with a high level of business participation and a constantly updated level of knowledge. Confirmed the effectiveness of Hungarian vocational training László Parragh (dir.) according to the results of international competitions. As the President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) liked to emphasize, the Hungarian team took second place behind Switzerland and ahead of Austria in last year’s European competition for professions.
