MOREHEAD, Ky. – The VMI Women’s Rifle program traveled to Kentucky on Saturday, facing off with the No. 16th-ranked Morehead State University team, falling to the Eagles despite a solid aggregate of 4420.

Victoria Phillips was the top performer for VMI, registering a 570 in the smallbore and a 573 in the air rifle to finish seventh overall. Emma Cameron had a strong outing as well, posting an aggregate of 1120 to place eighth overall.

What’s Next

VMII has one more outing before the Southern Conference Championships as the Keydets will travel to Morgantown, West Virginia next week to compete in NCAA Qualifier.
