Vladimir Putin’s international agenda suddenly accelerated with the Kremlin’s announcement of three working visits, as unexpected as they were strategic. On Wednesday, December 6, the Russian head of state traveled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia, where he met President Mohammed ben Zayed and then Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed ben Salman on the same day. This Thursday, he receives Iranian President Ebrahim Raïssi in Moscow.
