The signatures collected in Moscow and 18 regions of the country were received by the election headquarters of the candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation, the current head of Russia, Vladimir Putin. “The signatures collected in Moscow have arrived at the election headquarters of the candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation,” TASS reports information from a correspondent from the headquarters. In addition, signatures collected in St. Petersburg, Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo regions and from 12 other regions were received. He added that the signature boxes were delivered by volunteers.
The first signatures arrived on December 30, they were brought by volunteers from the Moscow region. At that moment it became known that over 500 thousand signatures had already been collected.
The Russian presidential elections will be held in March 2024. Putin also put forward his candidacy as a self-nominated candidate. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation stated that I haven’t signed my name yet for the nomination of Vladimir Putin for elections. But he promised reporters that he would do it.
