JK Rowling, who recently saw an English school that bore her name be renamed because of her “opinions on trans people”, had already shown her support for Ukrainians before this intervention by the Russian president.
The Briton, famous for her saga Harry Potternotably appealed for donations to help children trapped in orphanages in Ukraine, promising to match those donations up to £1million.

“Today they are trying to ‘cancel’ a whole 1000 year old country, our people. I am talking regarding the growing discrimination once morest everything related to Russia, this trend in many Western countries”, continued Putin who estimated that “the last time, it was the Nazis in Germany, there are almost 90 years, who have waged such a campaign of destruction of an unwanted culture.
