Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Honor to People’s Artist Nikolai Baskov. The award decree was published on official portal of legal information.
As follows from the text of the document, Nikolai Viktorovich Baskov was awarded the award “for services to the development of national culture and art, many years of fruitful activity.”
Let us remind you that last summer Basque appeared in news feeds due to activity not related to vocals. On the “zero day” of SPIEF, Baskov and Grigory Leps announced that they would pay a million rubles to everyone who destroyed tanks of the Leopard or Leopard 2 model in the Northern Military District zone. This was a joint action with the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Russian Media Group.
It was also attended by the owner of the Russian Media Group Vladimir Kiselev, singer Elena Sever and TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya. Subsequently, it turned out that singer Yuri Antonov also joined them in their endeavor.
