Chinese smartphone maker Vivo plans to release its next-generation foldable smartphone ‘X Fold 2’ in April, foreign media reported on the 20th (local time), citing a Weibo report in China.
According to the report, ‘X Fold 2’ is the first foldable phone to be equipped with the 2nd generation Snapdragon 8 chip, supports up to 120W fast charging, and provides a 4800mAh battery consisting of two 2340mAh batteries.
In addition, it is known that the ‘X Fold 2’ will be equipped with a foldable display that supports 2K resolution and will be equipped with an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor on both the internal and external displays. Rumors are circulating that an ‘X Flip’ with a clamshell form factor will also be released, but the ‘X Flip’ specifications have not yet been conveyed.
