New information about the vivo Y38 has been revealed. As reported by the portal 91mobilesthe model was listed on the certification websites of NCC and IMDA bodies. It is worth remembering that the Bluetooth SIG and CQC certifications were also granted to the devices and, in the same way, we have access to more technical specifications of the model.
For starters, it showed up with the model number V2343, as well as recently received certifications. Furthermore, an image of the rear of the model was revealed, indicating that it will have a circular-shaped camera module, positioned on the left side and housing the set of two sensors, as well as the flash.

The listing on IMDA also revealed that it will have a straighter design and will have a screen with a punch-hole notch to accommodate the front camera, with no specifications yet disclosed. As expected, it also comes with USB-C and a 3.5 mm jack for connecting wired headphones.
On the battery side, the vivo Y38 will be equipped with a 6,000mAh component, offering support for 44W fast charging. Furthermore, the device will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform, combined with versions with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage capacity.
There is still no release date, there is an expectation that the model will be officially presented in the coming weeks. The price, in turn, should also be revealed soon by the company.

Recently, rumors suggested that vivo is preparing to launch three cell phones, the vivo Y38 5G, Vivo Y03s and Vivo Y03t. Codes V2343, V2333 and V2344 would appear on certification platforms, respectively.
Now, the vivo Y38 5G has been approved by several regulatory authorities, such as Bluetooth SIG and CQC, suggesting that its launch would be scheduled for May. Furthermore, it appeared on the Geekbench benchmark platform and had its specifications leaked.

The Bluetooth SIG certification confirms the V2343 code of the vivo Y38 5G and reveals support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The CQC documentation lists the cell phone with 44W fast charging support.
The vivo Y38 5G was also listed on Geekbench in January, but only discovered now. The platform confirms the presence of a Qualcomm platform codenamed “parrot” and one of the lines of code reveals itself to be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2.
In the results, the cell phone obtained 3,092 and 7,035 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Despite being listed with 8 GB of RAM, it is likely to be released in other memory configurations.
Generally, cell phones certified by the Bluetooth SIG usually become official a month later, meaning it is likely that the official announcement of the vivo Y38 5G will take place in May. So far, the Chinese manufacturer has not confirmed the existence of the device.
