After the smartphones Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro only recently experienced their global launch, both models have not yet been found at German dealers. The start of sales in the EU has still not started, but Alza.de already offers the Vivo X90 Pro, with 12 GB RAM, 256 GB memory and leather look on the back Deal price of 959 euros while the RRP was previously assumed to be 1,200 euros, similar to the predecessor X80 Pro.
We recently tested the premium smartphone extensively and were able to determine very good performance from the installed MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, which lags slightly behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the more expensive Vivo X90 Pro+. The long battery life of 15 hours when surfing the web was also positive.
Other plus points include the 1,000 nits bright AMOLED display with 120 Hz, the robust workmanship and the 120 W fast charging function, which enables a charge from 0 to 50 percent in 8 minutes. Alternatively, it can be charged wirelessly with 50 W.
The 50 MP main camera with a 1-inch sensor from Sony also delivers really good pictures at night, which also look quite natural when the Zeiss mode is activated. The ultra-wide-angle camera and the zoom lenses have been downgraded compared to the predecessor, and the display resolution is also slightly lower.
My fascination with computers began at preschool age. Quickly following Windows 95 and 486 came the Internet, which has now completely gripped me – and has never completely let go. At the age of 11 I assembled my own PC, but since 2016 I have switched completely to notebooks: Because of this, as a traveling freelancer, I can have my entire PC with me everywhere. However, I’m not a full-time N3rd and I’m passionate regarding playing drums, lifting weights and being in our Finnish log cabin!
