According to new information from China, the foldable vivo X Fold 2 and X Flip should be released on the 20th of april. The event is scheduled to start at 7 am in China. That is, at 20:00 in Brasilia.
In addition, the author of the leak also reports that the vivo Pad 2 may be announced alongside the foldable ones, but this has not yet been confirmed by the internal sources that leaked the presentation date of the smartphones.

Vivo X Fold 2 and X Flip have first leaked specifications with Snapdragon platforms
vivo launched its first foldable this year, the vivo X Fold, as a rival to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. A few months later, the Chinese manufacturer brought the vivo X Fold Plus 5G with incremental improvements to compete with the more updated version of the south- Korean brand, the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
A new leak brought details regarding the company’s next generation of foldables, the vivo X Fold 2 and the X Flip. They promise to bring impressive specifications, in addition to using Snapdragon platforms.

vivo X Fold 2 should be announced first in China and should be the first member of the Chinese manufacturer’s next generation of folding. The second will be the vivo X Flip, which will be the direct competitor of the OPPO Find N2 Flip and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.
According to the informant Digital Chat Station, the vivo X Flip will come with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 platform. Unfortunately, it does not provide further details regarding the device, but reveals interesting specifications of its foldable “brother”.
The vivo X Fold 2 should feature a foldable display with 2K resolution, with both screens featuring a fingerprint reader. In cameras, it should bring the Sony IMX866 main sensor with support for optical image stabilization. Under the hood, Qualcomm’s latest flagship platform, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, is expected.
Another interesting information revealed by the informant is that the cell phone will be lighter than its predecessor. Both the X Fold and X Fold Plus weigh approximately 311 grams, which is considerably heavier than their competitors. While the OPPO Find N2 weighs 235 grams, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 weighs 263 grams.
