Vivo has announced its two new flagship smartphones: the V23 and its Pro version. Their particularity is to change color depending on the sunlight. They also offer a very interesting technical sheet.
The smartphone market is fierce and to stand out, you have to offer the “little extra” that could make your device unique. Vivo understood this well and put on a very particular design for its V23 and V23 Pro: they are able to change color.
Both smartphones are available in black as well as gold. It is this last color that intrigues. When the smartphone is exposed to sunlight for a few minutes, the “bronze” shell to adopt an emerald green. It returns to normal after a few minutes in the shade. This does not add anything, of course, but it is a new feature that makes the terminal stand out from the crowd.
Vivo unveils V23 with an interesting technical sheet
The V23 and V23 Pro aren’t just color-changing smartphones, since their technical sheet is also interesting. The V23 has a 6.44-inch flat AMOLED display with a definition of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It embeds a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of memory. Its battery has a capacity of 4,200 mAh and supports fast charging of 44 Watts. On the camera side, it has a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 2-megapixel super macro.

The V23 Pro adopts a logically superior technical sheet. It is thus equipped with a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen slightly curved on the sides. The panel offers a definition of 2346 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Inside, we find the best processor of MediaTek : the Dimensity 1200. A racehorse that is among the very best on the market. It is supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of memory. The battery is 4,300 mAh with a fast recharge of 44 Watts. Regarding the camera, we have a main sensor of 108 megapixels, an ultra wide angle of 8 megapixels and a super macro of 2 megapixels.
Note that the two smartphones are on board Android 12 with the Funtouch OS 12 overlay. They are currently marketed in India at a starting price of 350 euros for the V23 and 460 euros for the V23 Pro. They should arrive in Europe in the course of the year 2022. Products clearly interesting for their price.
