Chinese company Vivo has announced its latest smartphone, the V40 Lite, which offers support for some artificial intelligence features at a very competitive price.
V40 Lite price and specifications
According to the technical website “gsmarena”, the phone is distinguished by Vivo The new V40 Lite has a sleek design with a flat frame that is dust and splash resistant according to the IP64 standard, its dimensions are 164.4 x 74.8 x 7.7 mm and it weighs about 179 grams.

The V40 Lite comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 1 billion colors, and a brightness level of up to 1300 nits.
Qualcomm processor
The Vivo V40 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, which comes paired with an Adreno 710 GPU.
The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable via microSD card.
Android 14 operating system
Vivo has equipped the V40 Lite with its latest Funtouch 14 operating system interface based on Android 14.
For photography, the Vivo V40 Lite comes with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP front camera that can take selfies and video calls.
Photo editing features
The V40 Lite features some AI-based photo editing features including removing unwanted objects from photos, scanning documents, and improving focus.
The Vivo V40 Lite packs a large 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, and comes with a promise of 4 years of battery life, which is Vivo’s way of advertising that the battery will be able to retain 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charging cycles.
New Vivo V40 Lite Colors
Additional features include an accelerometer and proximity sensor, dual-mode 5G connectivity, LED flash, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Vivo V40 Lite comes in three colors: silver, which turns green under UV light, pearl purple, and carbon black, which contains some shades of dark purple, for a price starting at 350 euros (equivalent to 18,940 Egyptian pounds).
