Mumbai ∙ Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi’s business partners have complained of extorting Rs 1.5 crore. He took money from the actor on the pretense of investing in an event-film production company. Vivek was trapped by the gang who promised to get better results.
The incident came to light when Vivek and his wife Priyanka Alva filed a complaint at the Andheri East police station through chartered accountant Devan Bafna. The complaint is once morest Sanjay Saha, his mother Nandita Saha and Radhika Nanda. It is alleged that they have used the 1.5 crore invested by Vivek in the event-cinema company for personal purposes.

The company started by Vivek and his wife in 2017 did not go well. Later the company was reorganized by including business partners including the film producer. Existing company moved into event business. Along with this, they asked Vivek to invest 1.5 crores in the event-cinema company.
The police informed that an FIR has been registered once morest the actor’s business partners under various departments and investigation has started. There was also a complaint that these people had stolen 51 lakhs from actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. National media reported that Vivek Oberoi returned this amount to Nawazuddin Siddiqui from his company account and settled the case.
