Paris (ots/PRNewswire) – On the occasion of VivaTech, Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France region, announced several measures to raise its status as a to confirm the first smart region in Europe.
New actions to support innovation in the ecosystem of the Île-de-France region:
- The Île-de-France region announces the launch of a “small industrial start-up” PM’UP, to encourage the setting up of the first production lines in the Île-de-France region. The regional support of these SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) and start-ups that want to launch a new production will be one million euros. Applications can be submitted until August 28th and the winners will be announced before the end of the year.
- The Île-de-France region has decided to experiment with the use of artificial intelligence in its administration to improve the quality of tomorrow’s public service. It will launch around 10 innovation markets for a total of around one million euros to improve internal administrative management, information or service to users: a ChatGPT of regional aid designed to help the inhabitants of Île-de-France find the support vehicle following to identify their needs, a solution for heating and cooling secondary schools by reusing waste water heat, etc.
- The Île-de-France region launches a final version of the 3D digital twin of the regional area. The aim is to help Île-de-France residents to find the 40 regional digital services of the “Île-de-France Smart Services Region” program, adapted according to their location, directly online at www.iledefrance.fr: looking for a coworking space, a charging station for their electric vehicle, a waste disposal facility, a producer of agricultural products, etc.
- The Île-de-France region strengthens the cybersecurity of companies in the Île-de-France region by offers a “cyber diagnostics” check (max. EUR 5,000) and a “cyber equipment” check (max. EUR 10,000) to SMEs with more than 10 employees.
