After the success of the Viva Venezuela Festival in its first two chapters, it has now moved to the states of Falcón, Lara, Yaracuy and Zulia, so that artists, popular cultists and artisans can show their creations from today until this Sunday, July 7.
With this third edition there would be 10 states that have so far had this festival full of traditions: first it was in the Capital District, Miranda and La Guaira, and then in Aragua, Carabobo and Cojedes.
In Falcón they will stand out today with craft samples and the Águilas parranderas group at the Institute of Tourism and Crafts Chichiriviche, from 10:00 am; while, at the Iriner Jiménez Indoor Gym, at the same time, there will be percussion of the Veleño drum together with the group Fulía en Movimiento, directed by Martín Deroy; and in the Plaza Bolívar de Píritu the fabrics will be appreciated with the cultist Anilda Montero, who will have the Semprunianas Traditional Dance group.
In Lara, there will be a performance of Tamunangue Instruments, from today until Sunday, at 4:00 pm, by the Los Negros de San Antonio Association at the Casa del Apostolado de Curarigua.
The culture of cocoa and chocolate can also be enjoyed today and tomorrow, at 9:00 am, in the Terepaima National Park; while at the Parapara Culture House, at 3:00 pm, they will offer techniques and practices for dance.
There will be no shortage of masks and costumes from Zaragoza with the April 13 dance group, at the Ciudad de Maturín School, in La Unión, today at 9:00 am, and even less the weaving of Lara clubs at the House of Culture of Honey, at 2:00 in the followingnoon.
In Yaracuy, today there will be a drumbeat and zangueo with Golperos de la Tambora, at 10:00 in the morning, in the Plaza Bolívar in San Pablo; and the traditional Chacian polka dance will be felt with the Kuara group, at 4:00 pm, on the boulevard of Plaza Simón Bolívar, in Chivacoa.
The candy store will also be present this morning in Lara: in the La Ciudadela library and in Cumbe Luango Tari.
Likewise, in the state of Zulia they will give the workshop Knowing ancestral music and rhythms, with Danzas Misión Cultura, at 2:00 pm on the El Mamón field. At that time there will be traditional dance in the Fabricio Ojeda urban planning and ethnic dance in the same place.
Heritage and identity with drums can be seen in the Plaza Bolívar of the Manuel Guanipa Matos parish, at 2:00 pm, and another percussion exhibition will take place at the same time in the Plaza El Sol, Cuatro Esquinas, to show cultural resistance as an identity tool.
All these activities will be carried out with free admission to spread our traditions.
And to the Mansion too
The Aquiles Nazoa Cultural Casona joins the festival.
Tomorrow, Saturday, at 4:00 pm, the bells of Tocuyo (Lara) will ring; to give way, 40 minutes later, to Los Descendants de Palmajero (Yaracuy); continue at 5:20 with the Warire group (Zulia) and culminate with Cunabiche (Falcón).
On Sunday the day will continue at 4:00 with Osta; at 4:40 pm Abel Rodríguez, from Colombia, will be on stage; at 5:20 pm Sur a Sur will be presented with a sample of Palestine and Venezuela; Oriana Cantora will be at 5:50 and Carota, Ñema and Tajá, from Lara, will close at 6:30 pm.
In La Casona a collection center will operate both days, until 7:30 pm, so that they can collaborate with diapers, drinking water, medicines, shoes and more.
