It has been on the lips of fans of the Apple brand for many weeks. Since the official announcement of the start of marketing of the Vision Pro on February 2, information concerning it has been flying in all directions. The latest one is Ming-Chi Kuo who is at the origin. According to him, not everyone will be able to afford a Vision Pro when it launches. This is not so much due to its rather high price of $3,499, but rather to very limited quantities of stock.
If it believes that the product should particularly sell thanks, in particular, to a revolutionary user experience, Apple would like to be quite cautious regarding the first days of sales. For the entire American territory, Apple is only preparing to ship between 60,000 and 80,000 copies of its headset.
As a reminder, Apple will open pre-orders for its Vision Pro on Friday, January 19, at 5 p.m. (at 2 a.m. here, Editor’s note). The official sale will then begin on February 2, but we can easily assume that with so little stock available, few will be able to obtain one without going through the “pre-order” box.
